James T. Moran Notebook, 1902
James T. Moran used this notebook while studying in the University of Tennessee's Pharmacy program in 1902. It consists primarily of instructions for mixing various medicines and creams, including the names and amounts of the requisite chemicals. It also houses a newspaper clipping providing a whitewash recipe, two prescription sheets from the Gooding Drug Co. (where Moran worked while attending school) signed by J. C. Todd, and several slips of paper listing weights and measurements of chemicals.
