W. D. Cox Medical Ledger, 1893 January-1907 March 12 (Bulk 1893 January-1898 December)
Dr. W. D. Cox, a physician in Lake City, Tennessee, used this ledger to record the names of his patients, the date he treated them, what charges were incurred, and whether payment was rendered in cash or goods. Several additional items were found in the ledger, including a letter from Dr. N. L. French asking Cox to forward information about patients of his that will not pay their debts, a note from Sallie Armstrong requesting that Dr. Cox make a house call on March 12, 1907, and several slips of paper bearing notes about various patients and charges.
