Atwater, Edward Joynes (an influential faculty member), J.M. McBryde (who was picked to serve as University President but never took office), and other College Trustee members.Material in Box 2 dates from May 28, 1886 through December 27, 1888. Most of the correspondences were from John. M. McBryde (who was picked to serve as University President but never took office). Other major correspondents during this time were Edward Joynes, Charles W. Dabney (University President from 1887-1904), and other College Trustees.
