Emory Family Papers
This collection of Emory family papers contains a pocket diary from 1868, an autograph book and a letter to Mrs. A. M. Emory in 1904.
The diary belonged to the Reverend Isaac Emory. Emory's almost daily entries record meetings, accomplished tasks and weather. Sunday's entries usually include a remark about topics preached that day. Also includes account records for the year and various memoranda.
The autograph book has no dates, but an opening poem is signed by Myron Emory.
The December 1904 letter was sent by Mrs. Emory's daughter, Ella, who was then in Cuba. She comments on gifts sent home and the future visit of her mother to Cuba.
