Biographical/Historical Note
Warren Keith Sinclair was born on March 9, 1924 in New Zealand. He married in 1948 and earned his PhD in Physics from the University of London in 1950. The family moved to the United States in 1954, where Warren Sinclair taught in the Radiology Department at the University of Chicago (1964-1985), served as President of the National Council on Radiation Protection and Measurements (1977-1991), and researched medical applications of radiation and radiation's effects on living tissue extensively.
