The Edward Williamson Collection, 1945 consists of a book compiled by Williamson. The book, Wild Tales of the Blue Yonder is a collection of the stories of 21 pilots who graduated from the Army Air Corps class of 1945-B. The stories contain not only war experiences, but pre-war and post-war life as well.

Biographical/Historical Note
Edward Williamson graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1949 with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then worked for Southern Company Services in Pensacola, Florida. He transferred to Birmingham, Alabama, and retired in 1988 as Senior Vice President of Design Engineering.
