Abstract

The Leap Off/World War II CD-ROM is a digital collection of the history of the 404th Fighter Group that served with the 9th Air Force during World War II. The CD-ROM includes photographs and text.

Biographical/Historical Note

The 404th Fighter Group served with the 9th Air Force from April 1944 to the end of the European theater of World War II. Captain Andrew F. Wilson produced a printed combat history of the group. William Lee, a pilot with the 404th, reproduced the history in CD-ROM form
