Hixson-Skymont Community (Grundy County, Tenn.) Collection
The Hixson-Skymont Community Collection, 1938-1984, is a collection of the local history of the Hixson-Skymont area in Grundy County, Tennessee. The collection includes the published booklet made by the community, as well as the documents, clippings, and oral histories that made the publication possible. Also included in the collection are audio cassettes of the oral histories provided by the community.

Abstract
The Hixson-Skymont Community Collection, 1938-1984, consists of a collection of items that constitute local history of the Hixson-Skymont area in Grundy County, Tenn. The collection was gathered by members of the community in order to record and preserve their area's history. It includes the published booklet of the local history that was possible because of the research, newspaper clippings about the research campaign and local history, photographs of the exhibit made by researchers and other clippings and documents.
