Granville Hunt Collection
This collection consists of black-and-white photographs by Knoxville-based photographer Granville Hunt in the 1920s and 1930s. The topics of the photographs are varied, and some of the subject matter may be considered controversial (particularly photographs in folder 8). The photographs have been arranged in folders generally based on topic. Also included in the collection is a sampling of newspaper clippings in which Hunt's photographs appear.

Abstract
This collection consists of black-and-white photographs by Knoxville-based photographer Granville Hunt in the 1920s and 1930s.
Biographical/Historical Note
Cyrus Granville Hunt was born April 18, 1909 to Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Hunt. He was a photographer for the Knoxville News Sentinel beginning in 1928 and later a photographer for the Tennessee Valley Authority. He married Mildred Robinson (1913-1993) on August 18, 1934. Hunt died on October 18, 1963 and is buried in Loudon County, TN.
