Biographical/Historical Note
John Thomas Lockman was born on September 26th, 1834 in New York County. He enlisted as a Lieutenant Colonel and later attained the rank of Colonel in the 119th New York Infantry. Lockman died on September 27th, 1912, and is buried in Woodlawn Cemetery in Bronx County, New York.
