Abstract
This collection consists of an interview conducted with Lionel Greer in New York, N.Y. Greer, a WWII veteran, was interviewed by the Center for the Study of War and Society in 2003 for the Veteran's Oral History Project.
Biographical/Historical Note
Lionel Greer was born around 1923. He served in World War II in the Air Force as a second lieutenant. He attended college in New York City at City College (now Baruch College). He became a CPA and worked for 30 years at Joseph E. Seagram and Sons. Greer went on to become a senior marketing executive and and international management consultant. He was married for 70 years to his wife Alice. Greer died on September 8, 2018.
