Henry Elliott Letters
Henry Elliott's letters consist of commentaries on his financial situation, reports of troop movements, and his overall status in his particular Regiment. Elliott writes to various friends and family members including his sister, brother, and his parents, wherein he details his interactions and engagements with the rebels in Tennessee. He also explains in detail the hardships of his soldierly life during the Civil War. The letters date from December of 1863 to April of 1864.

Biographical/Historical Note
Henry Elliott, a member of the 65th Ohio Infantry, Company K, enlisted in November 1861 and was killed on May 14th, 1864 at Resaca, Georgia.
