W. A. Cobb Letter
This collection consists of a letter dated April 6 from W. A. Cobb in Medon, Tennessee, to Miss Mollie. In the letter, Cobb writes of his feelings for Mollie, and says that he has told no one of their correspondence. Cobb also states -"if you think me not worthy of your love of course I can't think hard of you and will as soon as possible dismiss you from my memory."

Abstract
This collection consists of a letter dated April 6 from W. A. Cobb in Medon, Tennessee, to Miss Mollie.
Biographical/Historical Note
This letter was found in a group of papers documenting the Connally family of Mount Carmel, Halifax County, Virginia. The Mollie mentioned is most likely Mary Mollie Connally, born in 1835 to George Franklin Connally and Mildred Hundley Lewis. Mollie Connally was married to John James Lipscomb on June 12, 1867.
