This collection consists of photographs and other materials created and collected by Jesse Saunders McMurry while he was working with the Postal Service in England and France during World War II. The photographs include street scenes in France and England, a mailroom, an outdoor powder room, a tent city, bombed areas, and individual soldiers. Other materials include a 1945 University of Tennessee Alumni Card, a boarding pass, and ration cards.
