Abstract
This collection contains newspaper clippings and issues of Yank Magazine.
Biographical/Historical Note
Yank, the Army Weekly was a newspaper distributed during World War II by the United States Military. The first issue of the publication was made on June 17, 1942. It was originally only made available for soldiers overseas, but by its fifth issue, it was made available to all serving members of the US. It was never distributed for public consumption. The last issue of the weekly was published on December 28, 1945.
