Biographical/Historical Note
Findley Orr might be the Findley Orr born in 1798 to John Orr in Washington Co., Va. with a brother named James Orr (1790-1848) of Washington Co., Va. He was married to Spicy Meek in about 1828; she was the daughter of James Meek and Spicy Walker of Washington Co., Va. He died on January 15, 1873, in Dalton, Ga.
