Biographical/Historical Note
A Broadway Show is any musical, play, or variety show staged on New York's famed street, Broadway. Home to 39 professional theatres, shows staged on Broadway are generally considered the highest level of English language theatre. Broadway shows may run for days (flops), weeks (successes), or years (hits).
