Biographical/Historical Note
The Whittaker-Holtsinger Hardware Company was founded by W. B. Whittaker and Sam Holtsinger in 1922 in Morristown, Tennessee. In 1936 it was bought by J. M. Wallace, and it became the Wallace Hardware Company in 1944. The store is still in operation.
