Biographical/Historical Note
James Tipton lives in Fruita, Colorado, where he is a beekeeper and poet. He has been published in The Nation, South Dakota Review, Southern Humanities Review, The Greensboro Review, Esquire, Field, and American Literary Review. His collection of poems, Letters from a Stranger, won the 1999 Colorado Book Award in Poetry.
