Lisa M. Budreau World War II Collection
This collection houses correspondence, publications, memoirs, photographs, newspaper and magazine clippings, and other materials that Lisa M. Budreau accumulated during the course of her research into the impact that stationing American troops in the small English town of Grantham had on the soldiers and on their British hosts. Budreau was particularly interested in what this investigation revealed about national character and later used some of the information to write An Analysis of the Anglo-American Alliance During the Second World War in Grantham, a historical, cross-cultural analysis of the American national character in relation to ... the British character.
