World War II Division Newspapers
This collection consists primarily of newspapers and brief announcements published by various American front-line units stationed in the European and Pacific Theaters during World War II. These publications relate news about the unit's movement, deployment status, military successes, and camp life in addition to recounting stories about local battles and conflicts. The vast majority of the items document the later years of the war with a particular focus on the end of the war in the Pacific and the war's aftermath in Europe.
