306th Bomb Group Historical Association Directories
The 306th Bombardment Group Historical Association, an organization founded to promote communication between veterans of the unit, published its first directory in April of 1984. Each of the two directories in this collection contain the names and addresses of each veteran arranged alphabetically, geographically, and by unit.

Abstract

Biographical/Historical Note
Composed of four squadrons, the 306th Bombardment Group was activated in 1942 as a B-17 bomber unit. It participated in many of the major military offensives in France and Germany, including the Battle of the Bulge. Membership in the 306th Bombardment Group Historical Association was free to veterans of the unit and included the quarterly newsletter, Echoes, as well as the annual directory.
