Biographical/Historical Note
The mission of the University of Tennessee's Howard H. Baker Jr. Center for Public Policy is to develop educational programs and promote research to further the public's knowledge of the American system of governance. The organization also maintains collections of politicians' unpublished papers, including those of Howard Baker, Jr., and Fred Thompson.
