University of Tennessee Events Invitations and Programs
This collection consists of invitations, programs, and announcements from the University of Tennessee's various clubs, societies, and departments dating from 1891 to 1915. Among the materials included are commencement invitations for the Nashville Medical College, then part of the University of Tennessee's Medical and Dental Departments; programs and invitations to events sponsored by the Glee Club, the Barbara Blount Literary Society, the Chi-Delta Literary Society, and the Philomathesian Literary Society; invitations to University of Tennessee, Knoxville commencements; invitations to the University's Centennial celebration in 1907; an invitation to the inauguration of Brown Ayres as UT President in 1905; Shakespearean performance programs; the Alumni Association's annual banquet menus; banquet programs and menus, lecture announcements, and two leaflets.
