Abstract
The bulk of this collection houses correspondence, reports, and other materials documenting Dr. Charles E. Trotter's work with the University of Tennessee's School Planning Lab between 1970 and 1977.
Biographical/Historical Note
Charles Earl Trotter was born in Tennessee on September 24, 1927. After serving in the Army during World War II, he earned his BS (1951) from Maryville College and his MS (1955) and EdD (1964) from the University of Tennessee. Trotter became the head of UT's School Planning Lab on September 1, 1970 and served in this capacity until his death in a plane crash in Baltimore, Maryland on March 31, 1978.
