Abstract
This collection houses records documenting the activities of the University of Tennessee's chapter of Phi Kappa Phi between 1947 and 1989.
Biographical/Historical Note
Phi Kappa Phi was founded at the University of Maine in 1897 and is currently the nation's oldest and largest honor society. It accepts representatives of all academic disciplines who demonstrate outstanding achievement in their fields.
Arrangement
This collection consists of two boxes divided into five series:
- Series I: Finances and Funds, 1965-1981
- Series II: Lectures and Banquets, 1947-1989
- Series III: Presidential and Secretarial Files, 1973-1989
- Series IV: Rosters, 1985-1989
- Series V: Other Papers, 1949-1989
