This collection houses a variety of minutes, legal papers, and publications documenting Knoxville chiropractors during the early 20th century. Of particular interest are telegrams sent in support of legislation creating a Board of Chiropractic Examiners in Tennessee and minutes of the Chiropractors Association of Tennessee discussing possible affiliation with the American Chiropractic Association. Two of the publications promoting chiropractic were published for Dr. Walt F. Evans, who practiced in Knoxville during the 1920s and 1930s.
