Biographical/Historical Note
Charles Edmund Wait was born November 3, 1849. Wait served as a chemistry professor at the University of Tennessee from 1888 until his death in 1923.
Fesington Carlyle Lowry (1885-1962) graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1909.
