Fox Film Corporation Photographs
This collection consists of photographs of actors in scenes from several films produced by the Fox Film Corporation in 1917 and 1918. The actors portrayed include Theda Bara, Mae Marsh, June Caprice, and child stars Jane and Katherine Lee in films such as Cleopatra, Polly of the Circus, and We Should Worry!, as well as photographs for William Fox's production company Photoplays Supreme. Some of the photographs are not labeled.

Biographical/Historical Note
The Fox Film Corporation was founded in 1915 by William Fox. It was the result of a merger between two companies he established in 1913, the Greater New York Film Rental and the Box Office Attractions Company. In 1935, the Fox Film Corporation merged with Twentieth Century Pictures to form the Twentieth Century-Fox Film Corporation; the hyphen was removed in 1985 to create the Twentieth Century Fox Film Corporation.
