This collection consists of a photocopied manuscript of Charles Ewing's poem "Fort Sanders." Written in 1940, "Fort Sanders" is a descriptive work that chronicles the events at the Battle of Fort Sanders, which took place in Knoxville in 1863. "Fort Sanders" is four typed pages. It is divided into two parts, "Prologue" and "Assault."
