Biographical / Historical

The World's Columbian Exposition was held from May to October 1893 in Chicago, Illinois. The event attracted twenty-seven million visitors and showcased new technology and inventions like electricity and the Ferris Wheel. The Manufacturers & Liberal Arts Building, seen in this photograph, was an architectural marvel with its size and beauty.
