Biographical / Historical
Eric N. Baklanoff was a Board of Visitors Research Professor of Economics Emeritus at the University of Alabama. Born in 1925, Baklanoff spent his life traveling the world. He focused on Latin American studies, attending Ohio State University and Vanderbilt University and teaching at the University of Alabama. Baklanoff died in Tuscaloosa on June 14, 2014.
