Abstract
This collection contains records from the University of Tennessee Department of Political Science's Bureau of Public Administration, dated between 1941-1966.
Biographical/Historical Note
The Bureau of Public Administration was founded in the late 1940s as part of the University of Tennessee's Department of Political Science. Several faculty members held joint appointments with the Bureau of Public Administration and the Department of Political Science. Its purpose was to perform public and community service through applied research on issues facing Tennessee state agencies and local communities. The Bureau was dissolved in 1989.
