Abstract

This collection includes one folder of two letters from Gary Beck at the University of Tennessee to his parents in Ocala, Florida.

Biographical/Historical Note

Dow Gary Beck was born on October 29, 1890. He attended the University of Tennessee from 1911-1915 and studied engineering. He was also a member of Chi Delta Literary Fraternity. He later attended the University of Florida to earn an M.S. in engineering. Beck was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution. He died on October 24, 1975.
