This collection consists of event posters from in and around the Knoxville area from the 2000s created by Yee-Haw Industries. The topics of the events range from art, film, food, music, promotional events, special events, and theatre. The collection also contains magnesium alloy and linoleum letterpress printing plates which were used to create many of the event posters in the collection.

Biographical/Historical Note

Yee-Haw was founded in 1996 by July Belcher and Kevin Bradley. First located in a barn in Kentucky, the company moved to Gay Street in downtown Knoxville in 1998. In addition to original works of art, the company was regularly commissioned by musicians, companies, and special events to create promotional flyers and posters.
