Abstract
This collection consists of four postcards which display images of the University of Tennessee Campus including Carrick Hall, the President's residence, Morrel Hall, Science Hall, and the Main Entrance to University Campus.
Biographical/Historical Note
The postcards show images of the University of Tennessee Campus including Carrick Hall, the President's residence, Morrel Hall, Science Hall, and the "Main Entrance to University Campus".
The Science Hall was razed to the ground in 1979, the main entrance to campus has been renovated to its current signage, Morrell Hall was also demolished, and a new residence hall was built in the footprint of Carrick Hall and the entire complex was renamed to Presidential Court, as the residence halls in the area all bear the name of former university presidents.
Acquisition Note
This collection was donated by Mr. Allen Chauvenet to the University Archives in 2012.
