Abstract

A handwritten bill dated 1830 between Ezekiel Fuller and Dr. Peterson Elder in regards to the tuition for Fuller's son Arthur in the amount of $2.50.

Biographical/Historical Note

Ezekiel Fuller was born on October 15, 1780 in North Carolina to Ezekiel and Fanny Moody Fuller. He married Temperance F. Tate in 1804 and they had seven children. By 1819, he was living in Lincoln, TN. In 1824, he purchased land in Hardeman County, TN. Ezekiel died on May 22, 1861 and is buried in Madison County, TN.

Ezekiel's son, Arthur W. Fuller, was born on September 8, 1813 in Wake County, NC and died March 18, 1884 in Madison County, TN. Arthur married Levenia D. Moore on December 5, 1836 and Smithy Tolson on July 26, 1881 after the death of Levenia.

No biographical information is available on Peterson Elder.
