Biographical/Historical Note
Joseph Asberry Cline was born May 13, 1862 in Allen County, KY to Agness Angeline Bandy (1842-1901) and William Alfred Cline (1837-1911). He worked as a farmer and married Dora Alice Meador (1868-1957). Together they had four children: Charlie Winfred (1889-1973), Roy D. (1892-1975), Lallie A. (1899-1931), and Jewel (1908-2001). Joseph died on June 27, 1930 and is buried in Sumner County, TN.
J. F. Law is presumed to be Joseph F. Law, born May 20, 1858. Married to Malinda Highers (1852-1913), they had one child together, Mary Adeline (1888-1918). He died on December 27, 1924 and is buried in Sumner County, TN.
