This collection contains approximately 150 trading cards of UT or former UT football players from the 1990s. Most cards have listed statistics and facts about the players. The players included are shown playing for other teams in their post-college careers. Publishing companies include Topps, Pacifc, Donrus Playoff, UDC, Upper Deck, AAA Sports, and the NFL.

Abstract

This collection contains football trading cards depicting University of Tennessee Volunteers players as well as former players in their post-college football careers. The cards include players' statistics and facts. The cards were manufactured under different trading card series.

Biographical/Historical Note

The University of Tennessee started its first football season in 1891, and has been active in the sport for well over a century. UT has historically since then held one of the top 10 win-loss records in college football. UT competes currently in the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS), and South Eastern Conference (SEC). Called the Tennessee Volunteers, the team plays at Neyland Stadium. The team is currently coached by Jeremy Pruitt. Notable alumni include Peyton Manning, Johnny Majors, and Herman Hickman.
