Biographical/Historical Note
Alpheus Martin Beebe was born in 1832 in New York. He enlisted with Company E. 14th Michigan Infantry on November 4, 1861 in Owosso, Michigan. He mustered out of service on September 6, 1865 in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. He was married to Biansa M. Smith Beebe (1834-1895) and they had two children. He died in 1895 and is buried in Owosso, Michigan.
