Biographical/Historical Note
Omar L. Ash was a Lieutenant in the Air Corps during World War II, where he served in the Netherlands, the East Indies, and the Philippines. He was decorated with the Air Medal in 1945 for his participation in aerial flights in the Southwest Pacific Area from September 3 to October 24, 1944.
