This collection includes several letters written to World War II soldier Jerome Kaufman, who served with the U.S. Navy, from his family and wife, as well as military documents from his service. The material is arranged into two series by format. Series I: Correspondence includes several letters, holiday cards, and birthday cards addressed to Jerome from his family and friends. Series II: Military Documents features orders, examinations, and reports from Kaufman's service.
