Ellen Garrison News Clippings
This collection includes a copy of the Daily News featuring the "War Threat By Britain" article and a "Wide World War Book" issue of the Nashville Tennessean filled with maps showing the movements of WWII. Also included is a notice of a raid by American forces at Dieppe, France in August 1942 and a copy of The Volunteer, an internal newspaper published in Nashville by the Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation.

Biographical/Historical Note
Consolidated Vultee Aircraft Corporation, or Convair, was an American aircraft manufacturing company. It formed in 1943 with the merger of Consolidated Aircraft and Vultee Aircraft. The company produced many important aircraft during World War II for the U.S. Navy, the Royal Canadian Air Force, and British flying forces. The company dissolved in the 1990s.
