John Sheridan Collection
This collection contains an array of different types of promotional and personal materials: a historic post card series of Knoxville from the university's bicentennial; a medallion commemorating the bicentennial of the University of Tennessee; pins from UT events; books on law, business, and history concerning Tennessee; and catalogues, newsletters, journals, and video cassettes about the UT Medical Center and the university system.

Abstract
The John Sheridan Collection consists of University of Tennessee bicentennial and other university development and personal media belonging to former UT Medical Center administrator John Sheridan.
Biographical/Historical Note
John Sheridan was a senior administrator for the University of Tennessee Medical Center, having first been employed there in 2000. Sheridan worked primarily in governmental and community relations. He was a patron and supporter of UT campuses through his later career. He retired in 2017.
