This collection features documents, news articles, and photographs from Marinell St. Clair Eldredge's participation in the 1945 Aviation Psychology Program Flight Project at the University of Tennessee. She was certified as a pilot for the U.S. Air Forces in 1945.

Series I: Identifications and Photographs includes Eldredge's personal documents, identification cards, and photographs.

Series II: Manuals and Log Books includes basic training manuals and Eldredge's pilot log book.

Series III: UT Aviation Psychology Program Newspaper Articles includes several photocopied newspaper articles featuring the program in 1945.

Abstract

This collection features documents, news articles, and photographs from Marinell St. Clair Eldredge's participation in the 1945 Aviation Psychology Program Flight Project at the University of Tennessee. She was certified as a pilot for the U.S. Air Forces in 1945.

Biographical/Historical Note

During World War II, Marinell St. Clair Eldredge participated in the University of Tennessee's newly established Aviation Psychology program. She served as the Data Coordinator for the Flight Project at UT in 1945. Marinell was also certified as a pilot in 1945 for the United States Airforce.

Acquisition Note

This collection was donated through the University of Tennessee's Center for the Study of War and Society.
