This collection includes 11 photographs from the ground of Tyntesfield, England during the 1940s and the 1990s.
During World War II, the U.S. Army Medical Corps established the 74th General Hospital on the grounds of the Tyntesfield Estate in Wraxall, North Somerset, England. For much of the war, it was the largest U.S. Army hospital in Europe.
This collection was previously listed as part of MS.2112.
This collection was donated through the University of Tennessee's Center for the Study of War and Society.
