Capt. Harry H. Mittenthal served during WWII in the Pacific Theater. The Statement of Capt. Harry H. Mittenthal recounts his time as a Japanese prisoner of war, from 1942 to 1945. He describes the conditions of the various prisons he spent time in and the ships they were transferred in.
