Biographical/Historical Note
Samuel M. Raimi (b. 1959) is a filmmaker and actor. Among his many projects are the cult horror films from the Evil Dead series. The first film in the series, The Evil Dead (1981), was filmed in a remote area of Morristown, Tennessee.
