Biographical/Historical Note
Digby Gordon Seymour served in the U. S. Army during the Second World War. He went on to get an M.D. and then served as an Air Force surgeon during the Korean War. Seymour was a doctor of anesthesiology and a local historian and author who wrote extensively on the Civil War in Knoxville. He was born in 1923 and died in 2017.
