The transcript of an oral history interview with World War II veteran John B. Phelps along with a copy of Pictorial History of the 65th Infantry Division and several newspaper clippings. The interview is an account of Phelps' time serving in Germany and Austria in WWII, and specifically about the events portrayed in the Pictorial History.

Biographical/Historical Note
John B. Phelps served in the European Theater of Operations in Germany and Austria during World War II with the 65th Infantry Division. Originally from New York, Phelps moved to Knoxville, Tennessee, in 1979 upon retirement.
